What began as a single vision — to tell Georgia's story through the universal language of fashion — grew into a living system for protecting, restoring, and sharing one of the country's most overlooked treasures: its textile heritage.
Founded by Natela Potskhveria in 2023, Georgian Infusion works at the intersection of museology, education, and culture, with the collections of the Georgian National Museum at its heart.
Every step of this journey is driven by one conviction: that Georgia has always been, and will remain, a significant player in the international cultural context.
A professional restoration laboratory opened at the Simon Janashia Museum, creating a dedicated space for the conservation and study of traditional dress, ethnographic and domestic textiles, while building on the Museum's long-standing expertise in textile conservation and restoration.
A structured curriculum for training textile conservator/restorers, co-developed by the Georgian National Museum and Anastasia Ozoline (Palais Galliera, Paris), drawing on the expertise of the Museum's conservation professionals and international best practices.
The Simon Janashia Museum of Georgia invited Georgian Infusion to contribute to its new permanent ethnographic exhibition. The design concept is led by scenographer Ania Martchenko, shaping how Georgian material culture is experienced by local and foreign visitors.
